Testing Systems, an industry leader in employment lifecycle screening management, is seeking a Senior
J2EE Integration Developer to join their fast-paced Integration Services Group. The J2EE Integrations Developer will be a member of the Integration Services Group (a highly-motivated, dynamic and multicultural team) tasked with designing and developing back-end application integrations using its open-source platform. The Integrations Developer will work closely with fellow team members to ensure the implementation of Sterling�s integrations meets client needs. Job Duties/Responsibilites:
Work interdependently with minimal supervision in a onsite-offshore team environment
J2EE development and configuration of custom components to ensure transaction connectivity between Sterling backend systems and ATS/HR/ERP systems
Develop XSLT to translate proprietary XML to HR-XML or Sterling XML (XPath, XQuery, etc.)
Write applications that are easy to support and maintain
Write XSLT to translate proprietary XML to Sterling XML
Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of applications
Skills/Knowledge:
Solid OOD/OOP foundation
J2EE/JSP Framework (Spring,
JSF, etc.)
Apache WebServer Web Server and
JBoss Application Server
Familiar with WSDL, XML Beans, creating XSLT template, creating XML Schemas
Strong XML processing experience (XSD, XPATH, XSL/XSLT)
Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines
Have the ability to think logically and analyze system problems
JavaScript, XHTML/HTML, CSS (optional)
The following are a plus::
JBI (or any implementations of such like ServiceMix)
JSF
Knowledge of communication protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS
Spring, Hibernate
Database design/logical and physical data models
Version control (e.g. SubVersion, VSS, CVS)
Experience with MS Project and Visio
Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively; strong and proven problem solving capabilities
Experience Levels:
Business Analysis tools - Expert knowledge required
UML - Expert knowledge required
Microsoft Visio - Intermediate knowledge required
Web Applications - Intermediate knowledge required
JavaScript, XHTML/HTML, CSS (optional) - Intermediate knowledge desired
XML, XSL/XSLT, XPath - Intermediate knowledge required
Solid OOD/OOP foundation - Intermediate knowledge required

Education/Background:
3-5 years experience with object-oriented design and programming using J2EE/JSP Frameworks
2-4 years experience with developing XSLT�s and XML schemas
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field of study
Formal software development life cycle process training desired
Strong background in relevant Internet Technologies, including portal technologies, high availability design, internet security, identity management, web and application server environments, session management, transaction management, middleware messaging, content management, J2EE and Enterprise Service Bus development and management.
Significant implementation experience and a proven track record in supporting successful J2EE-compliant web-based infrastructures in a multi-tier and high volume transactional environment.
Expert-level knowledge of distributed, EAI and J2EE technologies, with a strong ability to work with and communicate effectively with mainframe and distributed system designers, architects (application, infrastructure, integration), and database administrators.
