Is it possible to close a Java console that is attached to a Browser session using Javascript ?

Thanks

Well, since the console is not a standard part of anything, there's certainly no standardized way. IE in fact, has no console at all.

Firebug gives you some control over their console (logging and such) but I do not know if you can programatiicaly open and close their console.

As an end user I would not want a website/application that I'm using to close my Java console; especially if that application did not open it to begin with.
