You are not sabotaging this thread rather ingniting it. This is how the mankind developes. I never deny the fact that JavaRanch has been best to its performance yet. The usability is fine in comparison with other sites. But we can make it better.
Let us go a couple of years back. What was Gmail(any existence?)? It came to public in june/july 2005. what was yahoomail, hotmail etc etc at those times? Almost every being in the "mankind" was having yahoo and other accounts!! What made email users to create account on the gmail(new baby!!)though it had many strong competitors? It was beacuse it provided more storage capacity and better user interface than any of the web-based email present at those time.
There is nothing to get excited about the hype(hi Bear!). It is technology. It is science and it must be implemented with care and skills.
