This has to be one of the most dumb-ass arguments I have ever heard in my life! Fighting over whether blonde jokes oppress women? I don't think those who would oppress women need blonde jokes to turn them into oppressors. If you are really concerned about the oppression of women I would turn myself towards the Middle East instead of worrying about a couple of lame jokes on a computer language web site. :roll:

I'm not blonde. I think that some "dumb blonde" jokes are funny and some aren't. I think that some blonde women act dumb and some don't. I think that many dumb blonde blonde jokes could just as easily be Pollack jokes or Irish jokes. "How many xxx's does it take to change a lightbulb?".

Actually, it just hit me -- this is perhaps the first time in my life that I've ever been close to personally offended by sexism.
And by sexism, I mean the notion that men have to rescue us poor blondes from... wait for it... really funny jokes!
We, in the 'blonde community', prefer to speak for ourselves, thank you very much.
And I believe Cindy and I (the blonde-americans here) have spoken
But we do appreciate the gesture of attempting to intervene on our poor blonde behalf.
God knows what a setback to women this topic has been. However will we survive it?

Isn't it true that in general we wouldn't find any jokes funny if we couldn't relate to them?
Not to say there aren't vicious people telling jokes, cause there are. I guess it's something like this:
