I said what? I said that Joe "RE-POST-ED" that "India... bla-bla-bla". In other words, he repeated somebody's post. What is inaccurate in my statement?
Because you later said that you made me "quit trashing India". You are saying that I trashed India. I even questioned your meaning to make sure I didn't misunderstand you:
Joe: Map, did you really think I was trashing India, or are you just kidding?
Map: I'm not kidding. You re-posted that "India had a parasitic economy" -- you think this is funny? This is something to kid about?
The issue can't be any clearer. You stated, in no uncertain terms, that I trashed India when in fact I did not. That is what is inaccurate in your statement. As is usually the case, it is not what you quote that is incorrect, it is your interpretation that causes the difficulty.
And then I carefully explained my position:
However, you do realize that in the entire paragraph above, I, Joe Pluta, have never once said that India is a parasitic economy, don't you? If you do not understand this, please point out the exact sentence where you think I said it, and we can go over the grammar. Maybe this exercise will help avoid similar confusion in the future.
Even so, you continue to accuse me of India bashing (or at least of doing SOMETHING I should apologize for, though it's no longer clear what). This is why I am asking for an apology. I'm tired of having to defend myself against this sort of attack simply for stating a opinion that you don't happen to agree with.
