Hey guys, I tried to use the layer tag to caontain some images when creating a rollover-dropdown menu. But the tag doesn't seem to work.. I've used the span tag in similar instances but would that be appropriate..
Oh and what do you think is the best? Using seperate images or image maps?
I really need some help fellas.. Thanks in advance..

Layer tag was a Netscape 4.X creation. You should be using spans and divs.

What are you tring to accomplish?

Thanks dude.. I'm trying to create a drop-down menu.. So i want all the images on the drop down to be in one element.. Span would do right.. But do you think using an image map on 1 image is better than using many images(like i've done)..
