HotPads.com, a venture capital backed early-stage company, is looking for several engineers to join our team in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC. HotPads is a rental housing search engine, enabling users to advertise and search for rental housing using proprietary map-based search. We are building a brand and technology platform that is positioned to become "The Place to Find Your Place". HotPads is a rapidly growing technology-focused company, and we need talented developers as soon as possible.

HotPads' team is currently ten members strong. Despite our size, we are extremely productive because HotPads' environment fosters a rare combination of collaboration, creativity, and independence. At HotPads, we work hard and have fun doing it. We have a lively office environment and regularly get together for group dinners and social events.

We're looking for people who understand the fundamentals of the Internet and Java, and who want to quickly become experts in both. We work on many small projects at a time and release new features frequently. Immediately, you'll start working with experienced developers and contribute to features that might be released days later.

If you're interested in mastering many or all of these technologies, HotPads is a great place to do it: Linux, Java, DNS, MySQL, Hibernate, Tomcat and Resin, Spring, Spring MVC, Lucene, Amazon's S3 and EC2, ArcGIS, JavaScript, DWR and Google Web Toolkit, HTML, CSS, XML, Flash, Flex and AJAX technologies

If you're interested, please email mcorgan@hotpads.com for more information or call us at 202-232-1582.
