Position Title: Java/J2EE/Websphere SW Engineers
Location: Boston, MA

We currently desire to add four (4) Java/J2EE/Websphere Software Engineers (3 developers and 1 production support/sustaining engineer) at our Boston Massachusetts location.

For the four (4) Java/J2EE/Websphere SW Engineers, the successful candidates will possess:
** 2-10+ years overall experience including 1-5+ years Java/J2EE experience is required (Note: there are 3 levels of positions open ranging from �early career� which requires a minimum 2 years overall including 1 year Java experience; to mid-career which requires a minimum 5 years overall including 3 years Java experience; to a �lead� which requires a minimum 10 years overall including 5 years Java experience; plus there is 1 production support/maintenance & enhancement/sustaining engineer position with Java expertise).
** Knowledge of applications servers (highly prefer Websphere/WSAD; will consider WebLogic, JBoss, WebMethods, etc)
** 2+ years experience with relational databases and structured query language (SQL) including stored procedures is required (prefer Oracle and/or Sybase).
** Working knowledge and experience with developing Web services.
** Working knowledge and experience with XML (DOM, SAX and/or XSLT).
** Working knowledge and experience with Hibernate framework (will consider other frameworks such as Spring or Struts) and/or Java Server Faces (JSFs).
** Working knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies (XP or RUP will be considered).
** Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or a related technical field of study) or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
** Ability to communicate effectively to clarify business, operational, or technical requirements.
** Demonstrated analytical, problem resolution and project management skills.
** Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills required as there will be significant interactions with external clients.
** Must be detailed oriented, customer focused, and responsive to client�s requests.
** Minimal travel is possible so please be willing and able to travel 10%.
