Hi,

I have a text field which contains a div element below it directly.

I have used the div's top and left properties to set its position according to the percentage ( i.e. top:76%;left:68%" id="popup1" ) and i have set the div's position attribute to absolute.

The problem is that when i test this application from a different computer with a different moniter size, the div's location is not the same.

Can Anybody please suggest a way to keep the div's location the same no matter the moniter size ?

Thanks in advance ...

Do not use percenatges if the text field is not positioned with percenatges. Other things that effect it too is font size.

What does this small part of your markup look like exactly.

Dear Eric,

I'm using ADF, that contains inputText elements inside an ADF table, and the div has to appear below the inputText element directly, so what is the best way to the the positioning technique ?

Thanks in advance ...

When you use obscure acronyms that few people are likely to know, it generally has the effect of killing any responses.

So what's ADF? A google search yields:

American Dance Festival
A Druid Fellowship
Alliance Defense Fund
African Development Foundation
Oracle Application Development Framework
Amsterdam Density Functional
African Dwarf Frog

and more

From context I'd assume that it's the Oracle product, but making people work to understand your question is not a good way to help yourself get an answer.
