Welcome to JavaRanch.

How is that popup created? There are 3rd-party libraries that can do this, and they work in just about all browsers (e.g. DomTT).

Welcome to the forum. In order for us to help you, you need to help us. Saying I use Ajax or I have an error does nothing at all to tell you what is wrong. You need to give us the exact error message and it would help to give us some code.

If you're having Javascript problems in Firefox then install Firebug (http://www.getfirebug.com). It's an incredibly useful bit of software.
