i wanna learn AJAX.
can anyone gimme the best online link to study it?

Hi, There are tons of resources, but I feel the best tutorials to get you to understand the basics are Rasmus' 30-second tutorial and a little one I wrote about it (very similar) called 5 easy steps to AJAX. Hope you enjoy.

Make a note to think about this later: The simple code to call XMLHttpRequest in these examples is not thread safe. If you want to update TWO parts of your page at the same time, things get trickier. This may not be an AJAX beginner topic, but I mention it now because eventually this will bite you and maybe you'll remember to Google for "xmlhttprequest threadsafe". I only learned this last week!

AJAX winds up with lots of script. Do you use FireFox, Dom Inspector and FireBug? Those are great tools to debug JavaScript execute.

Good point. This is one of the many reasons I always recommend using a library such as Protoype or jQuery to make Ajax calls. Writing all that code yourself is full of pitfalls.

Try using AJAX for dummies. It looks good for beginners.
