Software Engineer
Job Description As a Software Engineer for BEA, you will be part of a small team developing integration applications and developer tools built around the .NET architecture. You will be responsible for developing and implementing core features of these applications, with an emphasis on quality, usability, and maintainability. The successful candidate will have solid C# programming skills, a history of on-time, high quality feature development, and the do what it takes attitude to make the project a success.
Responsiblities:
* Implement features on schedule, with high quality
* Develop and maintain feature specifications
* Create and update feature implementation schedules and task lists
* Work with QA to ensure complete
test plans for all feature work
* Implement unit tests as needed
* Communicate feature and schedule risks in a timely and constructive fashion
* Manage bug list to completion for all major development milestones
* Collaborate with fellow engineers to develop simple, robust solutions; perform code reviews
* Work with QA and customer support to insure the product exceeds user expectations
Qualifications/Necessary Skills * 3+ years experience developing enterprise level ASP.NET applications
* Strong C#/ASP.NET coding skills
* Experience with front-end development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS
* Good knowledge of software engineering best practices
* Excellent communication skills; oral and written
* Ability to excel in fast paced environment
* Strong attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications * 3+ years experience developing enterprise level ASP.NET applications

* AquaLogic Interaction/Plumtree Portal development experience

* Solid understanding of WSRP specification
* Solid understanding of Windows SharePoint Services and its APIs
Education B.S. degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or mathematics, or equivalent experience.
