Sorry I work on Oracle Portal 10g Release 2 which offers a declarative environment for building, deploying, and maintaining world-class enterprise portals. For employees, partners and customers who want to access business applications, content, collaborative tools and web sites.

What I am trying to do is perform some of the pl/sql functionality in portal using JavaScript or JSP. My main problem is that the value passing that occurs in a SQL select statement how can I pass a value created with pl/sql coding to a JavaScript process or should I try to use JSP coding?
