Position Description Mid level software developer to work on the development and deployment of a new, front-office, derivatives trading platform as part of the comprehensive renovation of trade capture, pricing, and risk management architecture. The candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and deploying functionality enhancements in a large, mission critical system. Most of the system is being written in Java and C#, making use of related technologies such as SOAP/XML and MQ. The server components are to be deployed on a Linux platform with user interfaces on Windows and with Sybase on the backend. This position provides an opportunity for rapid growth and learning from close exposure to the business in a global leader for derivatives trading. The candidate will join a global team with members in London, New York and Tokyo. There is ample opportunity for contact with the trading desks and other parts of the firm.
