Do you have a minimum of 2 years as a Java developer? Do you want to enhance your skill set by incorporating new skills such as SAP into your current knowledge base? If so, look no further! We have an opening in Dallas, TX for someone that wants to take their career to the next level.

Our client has a contract to hire opportunity available for a Java developer within a manufacturing environment. Competitive salary and overall compensation plan lends itself to a motivated and sharp individual seeking a career track.


-Support the business analysts to provide application functionality for the business.
-Assist with technical troubleshooting to determine malfunctions.
-Develop design requirements to support functional requests.
-Develop application functionality utilizing the required development language/system following client's standards.
-Maintain client's development capabilities at or above generally accepted standards.
-Write system documentation as required to support software changes.

Qualified individual will have at least 2 years experience using the required development language as part of the overall experience. Must have a clear understanding of IT development standards and adherence to those standards.

-J2EE application server experience.
-Basic understanding of Java Web Dynpro applications using the NetWeaver Developer Studio.
-General knowledge of SAP ABAP development preferred.
-Basic understanding of the concepts of a relational database.
-Application design theory knowledge.
-Ability to create simple applications from start to finish.
-Ability to review other developers' code and provide maintenance or enhancement.
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
-Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
-Experience with or understanding of typical business or technical applications.
-Listening/processing key information.
-Ability and willingness to ask for help if needed.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor�s degree and 3-5 years working in a related IT field. Must have the ability to utilize the specific development language to develop module functionality based on design requirements.
