fixed header not working for table with drop down value in one column

this is my latest headache. i have a table in which one table data is a drop down box.because of this when i try to make the table header fixed only the drop down box part goes over the header -while vertical scroll is attempted.
if anyone could help me out it would be great !!!thanks

When you post questions like this, it helps to specify the browser. The select element problem is IE6 and under. You would need to look into placing a iframe under the header row that you create or figure out when a over is under the header and hide it or reposition the static header so it is not covering the part of the table that is being scrolled.
