DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will perform ongoing enhancements to current software as well as development and assisting with architecture of new software products. Work will focus on enhancement of distributed ad serving engine which requires 24x7x365 availability and an extremely fast transactional response rate serving billions of targeted ads per month. Individual will work within a small and focused engineering team of 4-6.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
�6+ years Java programming experience with appreciation for simplicity.
�Understanding of programming in a Unix/Linux and client server environments.
�In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis.
�Architecture skills are a plus.
�Self-motivated, organized, strong analytical/problem solving skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
�Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
�Ability to work well under tight deadlines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
�Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Computer Science or other engineering field preferred.
�4+ years of programming experience.
