stylesheet effect are not showing in jsp page

May be because you haven't closed the link tag :



and make sure that the 'Styles.css' , files reside in same directory as your current jsp page !

Use a tool such as firebug [use net tab] or fiddler to see if you are getting a 200 or 404 when the css is being retrieved.

No. That's considered a very bad practice.

Follow Eric's suggestion. The most likely issue is that the file is not being properly addressed.
