I am completely new to Java programming with XML .I have an XML file and a meta data file. I use DOM approach to access individual nodes in the XML file. I use a vector to store the values. I use the DOM approach to access the metadatafile and use hashmap to store the metadata file values. Then I use the enumeration technique to go through the vector and find the corresponding values in the hashmap. My table structure is different than my node structure. So I write prepared statements to write my values into database. Is there an better or efficient way to do this..
Thanks,
Raja
