Hi, I have some a question about the *, ?, and + in DTD. When you use * or +, does the element that these symbols describe need to take place in order? In other words, without these symbols, each element defined in DTD mst appear in the order described, but when there are * or + appearing next to the elements, do they still have to appear in order?

Hi Bob!
I am a beginner in XML.
DTDs use a system called Extended Backus-Naur Format which gives u a method of specifying elements in XML documents, indiacting how they realte and should be put together.
* - shows that the element can occur 0 or more times.
+ - shows that the element can occur 1 or more times.
? - shows that the element can occur 0 or 1 times.
Am i right. If it is wrong pls correct me.
Thanx
Preethi
