Can anyone kindly tell me, that whether data transferred through XML over on web can be direclty pasted on my spreadsheet,or other windows based softwares.

AFAIK you can't do that. You will need a program that strips the data off the xml file - such as a parser.
Unless Microsoft invests in XML-DDE that has a built in parser I think that would be a very ambitious feature
