hi,
I have two more questions. pls answer them, they are bugging me for long time:

1. if an xml document refers both to DTD and a schema then is it possible to do some validation of document in DTD and some other kind of validation in schema ( i mean i want to aovid repeatitive validation of xml document in schema if same validation is already been performed by DTD).

2. I have an xml document which refers to one schema. That schema refers to another DTD. I want to use this DTD validate the content of XML document and not Schema ?? can I do this ...the condition is that XML document will not refer to DTD directly... it can refer to DTD thru schema only.

I hope I make some sense.
Pls reply ASAP.
Thanks
