Could someone please tell me how they are currently using XML with Java in a current project. I would like to know the most realized benefits that you have noticed and pitfalls if any.
Thank you in advance.

We used XML to lay out our folder structure in a web based app. Users may change the XML file and add or remove nodes easily and then refresh the browser to see the changes.

David,
How did you handle the Add, Edit, Delete functions? Are you using Cocoon or did you write a Java app/JSP?
