Hello,
I extract a value which is a path to a file in another directory,
how can i read this path entry, so as i can insert the file into the database as a clob!
"XMLNode curNode = (XMLNode)nl.item(z);
curNode.print(System.out);"

Curnode contains the path, but when i print it out i get sometihng like;
afile="in1265/ref123.xml".
I can not seem to convert the path to a string so as i can use
"File f =new File(afile);" on it

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
