Hi ,
First I have to admit that this site was of great help to me.I have been a silent learner and now start to practice XML. It is really intersting to get some help when u need it. I will try to be active in asking & responding things I know .Here is my Q
I am trying to filter xml document.To be clear let me put it in example.here is my xml document
<ssn> .......</ssn>
<ssn> .......</ssn>

<ssn> .......</ssn>

No I want to generate XML document from with the following characters

<ssn> .......</ssn>

I will have all the values of elements but would like to put them in one so that I can have same data type easy to compress and play around.To show u some of my code

public void access ( Node node ) {

NodeList node.getElementsByTagName (String name )

int type = node.getNodeType ();
Is there some thing wrong here. I am not able even to compile it.
SO please give me some hint to either correct it or think other means of doing it .
