Hi all,
I am newbie in XML/JSP and I have a problem with web-server-side processing of XML sent by a web-client. Client is IE and accepts XML-data island within HTML, shows XML data applying XSL, modifies XML data, and finally submits modified XML to the web-server. Submitted XML incorporates a schema section and a data section. The problem is that the following server side processing (by JSP) of submitted XML:
if (request.getParameter("xmlData") != null) {
OracleXMLSave save = new OracleXMLSave (conn, tbl_name);
generates Exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException: at oracle.xml.sql.dml.OracleXMLSave.updateXML(OracleXMLSave.java:1443)
Could you help me please, what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance.
Always look on the bright side of life. At least this ad is really tiny:
how do I do my own kindle-like thing - without amazon
