I have a word document that is used for editing, adding and deleting entries and is put on the server for multi-usr capabilities. Needless to say because of the NT protocol, the word templates being used, the respponse is very slow. I just took a class in XML and felt I could try my luck with creating the same file in XML.It can be upto 25 pages long. There will be exactly 6 inputs, one of them being a memo /description kind of field. The users should be able to view the whole file, select an entry to edit or delete and of course add new entry. I cannot use database. The whole processing will be done through xml file. Any tips on what could be the right approach. I am familiar with XML and DOM and trying to get my feet with SAx and XSL.
