Hello,
I am using JAXP1.1, XALAN2.2, JRun3.1
In the process of transforming the xml file using the xsl file, I am getting TransformerException SAXException. Does someone know, is this caused because the xsl file contains the html tags inbetween, rather than pure XSL code?
Your thoughts are welcome.
Thanks
AK

It is perfectly legal for XSL document to contain HTML tags, as long as they are well-formed XML. If these tags were "cut and paste" from some HTML file, they may not be a well-formed XML.

Hi,
SAX exception is due to the problem while "PARSING" the XML file. So it is not at all connected to XSL containing HTML tags.
You must have erred in your SAX code or your XML file is not according to the specification.
Thanks.

What is the exception anyway? Can you post the error stack here?

I will let you know one thing...if u promise not to curse me.. well, it was the problem with the path of the file and on the assumption that it was correct, i was doubting all other possibilities...anyway, on reading this, someone will spare a thought to check the path of the file referred..thanx guys...for posting ur comments..
