Hi All,
can anybody tell me a simple program that uses xml with Java including the XML DOM?
What are the things I need to do other than installing JDK to run my program with XML DOM?
Thanks & regards,
Hemant

Take a look at apache.org. They have quite some stuff to get you started.

If you would like I can send you a program I just finished that uses the jaxp package and the DOM parser. A really good book on it is XML by example.

Also look at how to load the parser as bootstrap and use default implementation instead of configuring your own parser. Any example program that comes with JAXP ( DOMEcho.java for example,) download should help you understand this concept.

Thanks Ajith & Tom for your efforts.
But I would really appreciate if you can send me some actual program (as Tom has said) and the steps needed to run that e.g.installing some package or downloading some stuff(as asked by Ajith).
So can you please help me this way?
Thanks & regards,
