Hi All,
I have a application in which i have to write japanese,chinese data from oracle and store in the single xml file ,I have set the encoding as null in setEncoding() method , It is storing in hashcode format like 製品00000002
but the requirement is that xml should show actual japanese, Chinese characters in the xml file,
Can it be Possible with java
I am using apache parser for creating xml
Please help

Try setting the encoding as UTF-16(!!!

Then, you'll also need to set the character encoding on your output stream, using the appropriate constructor that accepts a charsetName parameter.
