Using Hashtable to store an xml document for further reference

i am using a data structure called hashtable to store data for further reference. One hashtable stores the xml document and the other uses the xsl document. every xml document can use more than one xsl document to process the xml file.
when a second request for the same xml file goes to the server, i check from the hashtable to see if the xml file is already there. I also want to check if the request is to process the xml file with the same xsl file. Please let me know how to do it..
if somebody could send me any piece of code tht u have written, i would be grateful.
