hi all,
i have just started learning XML. i want 2 start my practice with small examples.i heard from my friend that there is a software to check the wellformedness and validity of xml in internetexplorer ,is it correct or i have 2 choose some editors for practising or learn some IDE's like XMLSpy or XMEATAL.which will suit me?

I was able to learn a lot with XML SPY. You can download the trial and take a look.

Hi,
I agree with rob. xml spy is really damn good tool.
And for later practices you can write your own code in java/C++ using apache's xalan/xerces libraries for xml parser. As I learned from them lot.

Hi there,
U can check ur wellformedness with a simple browser jus the leave the job to the browser but for validating a XMl doc u need to either have a validating parser or need to build ur own with ibm's xalan/xereces as of now jus go on with browser......
