I am using Xalan to transfer the xml file into a text document. I have given classpath for xalan.jar,xercesImpl.jar, xml-apis.jar. When I give the command java org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -IN -XSL -OUT it gives me the following error.
javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: javax.xml.parsers.Facto
ryConfigurationError: Provider for javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory cannot be
found.
WHat is the problem? Can someone help.
Thanks,
Vidhya.

Can you try doing this. I hope it fixes the problem

OR
wait you are using the command line.
fine, try putting a file jaxp.properties under
JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/
the file s'd have entry like this:
javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory= org.apache.xerces.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl
javax.xml.parsers.TransformerFactory= org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl
hope it works!
