When I try to transfer my xml file into a html file using my stylesheet with the command
java org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -IN -XSL -OUT
it gives me the error:
javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactoryConfigurationError: Provider null could no
t be instantiated: java.lang.NullPointerException
at java.lang.Throwable.<init>(Throwable.java:96)
at java.lang.Error.<init>(Error.java:52)
at javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactoryConfigurationError.<init>(Unkno
wn Source)
at javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory.newInstance(Unknown Source)
at org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process.main(Process.java:231)
Xalan: was not successful.
How can I fix this error
Thanks,
Vidhya

This error is right in the very beginning. Meaning your code for create an instance of the TransformerFactory was incorrect.
The TransformerFactory.newInstance(
) does not take a parameter.

at javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory.newInstance(Unknown Source)
