Hy karthik, thank you for the tip, but i have got again a problem. I tried the example with the transformation from a xml in a ( i think ) dtd-file, you can find the example on:
http://www.zvon.org/xxl/XSLTutorial/Output/example63_ch14.html
But i can't find the output-source in my browser, so i think, there must be an error. Which xml-stylesheet statement should i write in my xml-file, becauce perhaps this is the reason why it doesn't work.
Now i have got the following statement in my xml-file:
<?xml-stylesheet href="first.xsl" type="text/xsl"?>
is this the error, please help me soon.
Regards, Jan

jan ,
just save the xsl content in .xsl file and specify that file name as the value of the attribute href.
try using xalan-j xml.apache.org OR saxon for learning xslt

Hi Jan,
you have a german name, don't know if you actually speak german.
If so: The xml-section of the well-known selfhtml is really good as a starter. http://selfhtml.teamone.de/xml/index.htm
Xslt-stuff included.
regards axel
