hi,
while transforming an xsl:fo file into pdf, i'd like to know how to render my page in landscape in the pdf file.
In fact, i need to have my page in landscape and separated in two columns.
thanks.

u have to set page master some thing like this

This will create a Landscape output with .5in margin on each edge.
For seperating in to two different columns,u have use tables.
Please refer this site to more about creating table.
http://www.ibiblio.org/xml/books/bible2/chapters/ch18.html#d1e5381
currently in FOP processor u have specify the column width explicitly and specify column datas in fo block.
(not a big drawback)

or else u can try renderx but u have buy it.;)
