compilation error : "package javax.xml.transform.stream does not exist".

I'm trying to compile an existing code using jdk1.4.1.
In one of the files becoz of this import
"import javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamSource;" I'm getting the following error : "package javax.xml.transform.stream does not exist".
tell me what to do?

Thats an odd one alright - that package should be there in SDK 1.4.1
The only thing I can think is that perhaps there is an earlier XML library hanging around on your system somewhere that is interfering.

Thanks for the reply-but i'm continuosly getting Cudn't resolve symbol and all becoz of XML related classes like SAXParser... etc..

I'm afraid you'll have to describe your environment in more detail. For example, posting your classpath variable would be a good start.
