I need to be pointed in the right direction on the following problem. I have an xml document, and I will be using a xslt stylesheet to create a nxn matrix in an html document that shows the relationships between two of the elements on the document. For example:
<doc1>
<a><s1>...</s1><s5>...</s5>...</a>
<b><s2>...</s2><s11>...</s11>...</b>
<c><s1>...</s1><s7>...</s7>...</c>
<d><s4>...</s4><s7>...</s7>...</d>
...
</doc1>
s1 s2 s3 s4 s5 s6 ...
---------------------------------------
a X X
b X
c X
d X
...
Can anyone give me some guidelines for starting this out? This needs to work for .NET but I work with Xalan.
Thanks!

Are you looking for guidelines about XSL in general (tutorials, tutorials, tutorials...) or the particular problem of producing a matrix?

You can use this stylesheet as a starting point.

It produces an output similar to this:
