Hi,

I am using the DTD parser to parse a dtd . the thing is the dtd has elements with name like "id(number)" , they have brackets as part of thier names. I want to change this so that the dtd parser does not deal with "number" as if it is a child of "id" rather than a name. but where should i do that?
I know that this is in class scanner but when i compile it, nothing change.
So how to make theDTD use my new scanner class rather than the old one??
How to update the API..OR is there another API ithout this bug??

Thanks.
Maha
