What is NodeList , Node , Element in xml file

Hello Sir

I am new to XML and i am able to parse a xml through DOM.

I am not clear about that , what is NodeList , Node , Element in a xml document.

Like :

  
   
  <Root>
      <SubRoot>
          <Sub></Sub>
      </SubRoot>
  </Root>  
 
  

In the above xml please tell me that which is NodeList , Node , Element.
