Sax parser and design pattern

Recently I have been asked a question: which design pattern is implemented by SAX parser. I think it could be Factory pattern.
Can anyone give me some idea about this?

To get a Parser .To get you a concrete implementation of DOM or SAX , JAXP uses factory design pattern.
