A google search found this discussion of RXML at the well known xml.com site.

Any XML document created this way should be readable with standard Java methods.

Hi San,

Altova's Authentic´┐Ż 2008 includes several ready-to-use templates for editing XML documents based on important industry standard vocabularies. To include RIXML, you can download a free copy from the following page, Download Authentic Desktop Edition

In addition, XMLSpy 2008 Enterprise Edition you can generate Java code from the dtd/schema

Here's the download link for XMLSpy

You'll find the schema files in the following directory, C:\Program Files\Altova\XMLSpy2008\Schemas\rixml

To create a new rixml file from scratch, select file\new, select the "Select a StyleVision stylesheet.." button, select the rixml tab, rixml.sps, ok

All of the commercial products offered by Altova can be evaluated for free for 30 days, so the first time you launch the software, you'll request the free license key.

Hope this helps!

IMHO, don't listen to the advertisement above.

XMLspy is huge, slow, and clumsy, and also expensive, I never liked it, I will never recommend it.

Personally I have never regretted buying a copy of XMLspy years ago - there may be better open source replacements but I happy with my old copy of XMLspy.
