Easy way: have the Transformer pass it in as a parameter.
Not-so-easy way: call a
Java
class method to return it to the stylesheet.

I thought it was so easy that no example was required. So I'm not sure just what you want in the way of an example. What problem are you having with implementing that suggestion?
