Hi,
What is mean by xpath . is it a separate parser ? or else it is used in JAXP and SAXP for parsing purposes.. so whats the role of the xpath in xml .

Here is my survey article on Xpath in Java 5.

XPath defines a syntax for getting values out of an XML document which many people find convenient. It is NOT a separate parser but depends on having valid XML parsed elsewhere.
