Hi !
I know that there are various software process models like incremental, waterfall, iterative, etc.
Are RUP, XP, DRUP, etc also process models...
can i say that they are more specialized process models based on the waterfall, iterative, incremental etc..
Regards
Danish

All the modern methodologies are combined incremental-iterative. All involve "build some, show some, revise if needed, show again, ship asap"

RUP is a process framework, coming with a whole bunch of practices you have to choose from to build your own process.
XP is a minimalistic process, coming with a dozen practices it is suggesting to start with and to adapt to your needs.
There are instances of RUP which are rather XPish - see http://www.objectmentor.com/resources/articles/RUPvsXP.pdf. Most often RUP is used in a much more heavy weight way, though.

May I ask why you are looking for fame?
