if XP is more suitable for small project compare to RUP, then can some1 tell me the eg of small project..is it XP is a methodology for software development. if for student information system, which would be more suitable? student informatio system consider as small project?

"Small project" in this case refers to the number of people involved. XP is quite save for a team of up to a dozen developers. Above that, it needs some experience to adapt it to the different needs of communication etc.
