What does this book cover?

Check out the sample info on my web site. We have the introduction, table of contents, and a sample chapter posted. Check it out here

Does this book cover the entire SDLC in full detail?

This has been covered in several threads, so I'll just that probably not, based on your definition. The book is more about the tools, techniques and process that you can use to build products reliably. It's very lightweight and agile. SDLC is (in my experience) used to refer to much more formal processes.

What type of projects are covered in this book ?

Will and I have worked at both start-ups and very large companies. We've worked on bio-tech software, enterprise calendaring, testing software, and so on. We've had a pretty decently broad background. The ideas in the book are designed to be language and process neutral.

Sorry for the vague answers. If you have some more specific questions, feel free to post them.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
