the "made easy" comes from the book containing a framework for incremental adoption of practices, allowing you to lok through a set of best practices and see "which one would add the most value to my project". You can then take that or those practices and incrementally adopt just those practices. For each practice we describe 3 different levels of adoption.

The reason this approach is "easy" is that it avoids the problem many organizations have when they try to adopt a new process. "How do I move from where I am today, to where I need to be tomorrow". Adopting a process is a huge organizational transformation, and the book provides a framework for doing that transformation one piece at the time.
