Dear Authors,

I love the Head First series.
I read HF Java,Servlets and JSP,EJB and they are very much useful for the beginners.
As i am planning for PMP and i am just starting up on this, would you suggest this book?

Thanks,
hari

Yes! If you like the Head First style of learning and you want to study for the PMP exam, then I think you'll like Head First PMP. We really tried to make a PMP Prep guide that people would find fun and engaging. A lot of people have told us that it really helped them study for and pass the exam without falling asleep. So, I think we pulled it off.

thanks,
Jenny

I would totally agree with Jenny based on my experience in using Head First PMP for my PMP preparation. If you serious about getting PMP certification, you need to read PMBOK guide multiple times and understand the concepts. But the PMBOK guide like any other reference books contains theory which could make us fall asleep or lose interest. Reading HF PMP first makes the task of reading PMBOK guide much easier.

I am a fan of HF series, which is why I checked out HF PMP book. And I must say, the authors did not disappoint me. HF series still rules.
