Hi,
I tried to control the bounds/size in my IE. But its behavior is different in different machine. I am currently using an xsl-generated reporting system through java. But my IE5 is opening half window and i have to maximize it by click each time...
I searched Tools-->Folder Options and in other places...but in vain....
Can you help my ranhers?

Right click on the icon that you use to start it. Choice properties and then set the 'run as' value to "Maxumized"

O Carl, thnx you are in rescue!
I tried your way and it works for the external programs of windows. But integrated programs of windows such as IE does not provide this option... . I tried in properties but the option is not given...
Any other way to solve the problem?

this might work. then again it might not. instead of maximizing it, resize it to fill the screen. it tends to remember and be that size next time you run it.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
